Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Play Store Studio (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Play Store Studio is a free, browser-based toolkit for generating Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and PWA assets. The Service runs entirely in your browser; we do not process or store the images you upload.

2. License to use

We grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the Service for personal and commercial purposes, including generating assets for apps you publish.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to images, logos, and other source material you bring into the Studio. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use that material — for example, that you own it or have an appropriate license. The Service does not transmit your content to us, but you remain responsible for it.

The PNG, ZIP, and XML files the Service produces are derivative outputs of your inputs. You own those outputs to the extent you owned the inputs.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate assets that infringe third-party intellectual property or trademarks.
  • Create deceptive icons or graphics impersonating other apps, brands, or services.
  • Produce content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attack the Service infrastructure.

5. Trademarks & affiliations

"Google Play", "Android", "Apple", "App Store", and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners. Play Store Studio is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google or Apple. Device frames and platform specifications used in the Studio are reproductions provided for compatibility purposes only.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service is bug-free, that exported assets meet every store guideline (which change frequently), or that the Service will remain available.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Play Store Studio and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, data, or store listings, arising from your use of the Service.

8. Open source

The Service is open source. The source code is governed by the license stated in the GitHub repository, which controls in case of any conflict between these Terms and the source license.

9. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes to the Terms will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
